BCRSP 50th Anniversary Conference Call for Speakers

Event Details:
The BCRSP 50th Anniversary Conference is taking place May 10-12, 2026 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Target Audience:
We are seeking presentations that will engage an audience of BCRSP certificants, aspiring certificants, and executives who hold the safety portfolio for their organisations. BCRSP certificants come from across all industry sectors.

Presentation Topics:

We welcome proposals related to a wide range of subjects, however, key areas of focus for the conference will be:

Emerging Technology - Applications and Impacts
Safety Leadership & Management
ESG/Social Governance & Sustainability - Applications and Impact
The Expanding Role of the Safety Profession

Session Formats:
BCRSP is considering proposals for: workshops & concurrent session presentations (60 minutes); panel discussions (60 minutes), lightning talks (15 minutes). For 60 minute sessions assume 45-50 minutes content with 10-15 minutes for questions.

Speaker Benefits:

Exposure: Opportunity to share your expertise with the safety profession.
Networking: Connect with industry leaders and peers during the conference.
Registration: Complimentary conference registration for speakers
CPD Credit: Speakers who hold a certification with the BCRSP can claim CPD credit for this activity.
Travel Support: In some cases, BCRSP may offer travel bursaries for graduate student speakers, or speakers who would otherwise not be able to participate due to hardship.

Review Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on relevance to conference audience, speaker expertise, presentation quality, audience engagement potential.
